Cultivar Name

Jack Tripper

Breeder

Irie Genetics

Lineage

Lemon Skunk x Jack the Ripper F1

Type

Feminized Photoperiod

Flowering Time

63-70 days / 10 weeks

Structure

Left to her own devices, Jack Tripper grows straight up with little lateral spread and a few narrow, seven-fingered fan leaves protruding out and away from the mainstem, making trimming this gal relatively easy. This cultivar was receptive to LST and topping, resulting in a more bushy structure and more top colas, but will require defoliation indoors to maximize light exposure to node sites. Bright green, dense buds are covered in trichomes that spill out onto the surrounding sugar leaves, and swell noticeably during the later stages of flowering.

Aroma & Terpene Profile

Lemon, rosey/floral, pumpkin, pepper/spice

Comments/Notes

We purchased our Jack Tripper seeds directly from Rasta Jeff @ Irie Genetics via his website. Having learned about Jack Tripper and it’s potential for potency listening to The Grow From Your Heart podcast, we knew this was a cultivar we had to try and were fortunate enough to snag some regular type beans while they were in stock. Given the Lemon Skunk heritage of this cultivar, we were looking forward to the lemon terps and sizeable buds.

Fast forward to the end of our pheno hunt with Jack Tripper when we were left with several very consistent looking female phenos, but one of which whose unique lemon-spiced aroma stood out from the others. Cured up and compared to the rest, we had our confirmation that our selection was on point.
